In Remembrance

Most of us can recall exactly what we were doing at the moment we heard the news that planes had crashed into the Twin Towers.  For many of us, the impact of that moment will haunt us for the rest of our lives.  September 11, 2001, united us all, not only as a nation, but as a world.  We will always remember the sacrifices that were made on and since that day.

The events of 9/11 moved me in ways I can never begin to explain.  A Ray of Hope barely touches the surface of the fear faced on that day and the days following.  The story of Micah and Hope, while fictional, could have very easily occurred, and it gives a perspective that many of us might not have considered before.
I implore you tonight, when you’re rushing through normal nightly events, stop for a moment and give thanks for the love and freedoms we all share.  Kiss the kids, hug the spouse and remind them how important they are to you.  For we never know what tomorrow might bring.
Thank you to all of my readers for your support, and God bless you all.
