#MuseMonday – The Truth in Lies Saga

Story ideas come for a million and one different places, but much like many of my stories, The Truth in Lies Saga started with a song.  The song was A Different Kind of Pain by Cold.  It’s a haunting melody about letting go of someone you love and watching them fall into the arms of someone else.

That carries the clouds to hide
My wish on a fallen star

A different kind of pain
Is someone there to hold you?
Is someone there to take you away from me?

Before you let me go away
Before you let me go
I need you to know

A different kind of pain
Is someone there that to hold you?
Is someone there to take you away from me?

A different kind of pain

A different kind of pain

It’s a different kind of pain
It’s a different kind of
